To my knowledge, yes they did, and I believe that they are always looking for more folks to work in P2P and DPN. Sometimes it's paid work and other times it is not.
Having walked through several layover hotel lobbies in the past few months and seen these guys set up giving out the same brief over and over and over again to the pilots that come by, I can truly say that I'd much rather be flying for that 8-hour duty period for the same pay.

And I understand that the point of the Special Committee's effort was to bring more pilots around to that conclusion.
