THat does suck. But the number was always 300, which included furlough recalls and flow ups. The OTS hiring was never really meant to be much.
Its true, with everybody speculating 600+/year and increased amount of OTS interviews, that the slow down is a let down.
Be positive. I think things will move faster than let believe. (Caveat: Viruses, Extreme Weather, Unknown and Devastating Financial Derivatives, Economic Bubbles, ULCC, Norwegian Air, OIL and finally Third World Upheaval)
