Look at it this way: You have an iPad already. The company allows its use but you must provide an approved mount and battery. Said equipment will run you around $150. May I ask you what the average price is that people spend on a kitbag? That was my choice, new kitbag, or equipment that allows me to use my iPad and no longer have to deal with filing revisions or worry about being current. Same cost, one has distinct advantages over the other. It's a no brainer. I wouldn't be proving anything to the company or anyone else by continuing to use paper.
There are people at my company with the same "holding out" attitude. News flash: ipad jepp subscriptions cost MORE than paper. You're not doing the company any favors by switching to an ipad; only saving yourself time.
