Well to be honest that's why it has to be put to a vote. They think it's a good contract, and I don't fault them for thinking that since it took effort to get what they got, but it's not a good contract for me...this is why I'm going to tell them no (via a no vote). Taking action when the union negotiators or leaders do not speak for the pilot group as a whole is playing the game. Last time a union rep tried to sell me a crap sandwich like this, we started a recall process. Not saying that is what we need to do in this situation, but simply an example.
Remember, the we are the union and as has been beaten to death multiple times... Teamsters is from the bottom up.
Personally, I'm concerned that they would offer up something so major in terms of QoL for those of us who either commute or have families without consulting the pilot group as a who (survey anyone?).
