You mean Skywest will need a lot of "ramp" space. Really though, this sounds like a good move because Delta needs the seats to get their intl folks to these destinations and Alaska cannot support the requirement. Jackson Hole is the odd one, but Phoenix and Tucson are always stuffed flights. The problem is they are low yield as are most north/south flights on the west coast. Unless Delta gets the RNP into JNU, they will need extra gate space for the cancelled/diverted flight. I heard Delta was suing/pressing Alaska for their RNP approach. Anyone heard anything on that?
