When I do the math, that works out to about 1000 pilots on the street.
Unless I am simply misiniformed about the status of those 140 50 seaters, that sounds more like a short term glut of pilots , rather than a shortage. (when they start parking them)
As soon as Endeavor caved on the concessionary contract Anderson and Delta magically discovered they weren't going to park all those 200s. Also they are losing so many FOs Endeavor is trying to hire right now.
