Those 175's are coming regardless of this rejection. I can't see them awarding those airframes to another carrier due to the fact that no regional can staff what they have (see Republic thread). The only way to get those airplanes crewed is to use who's already on the payroll, so I think that Eagle will still get them but lose all the 50 seaters. A less likely scenario would be to merge Eagle into PSA and adopt their cost friendly contract, but I don't really see that happening. Last, I certainly don't see them going to mainline, because that would be way more costly than you guys flying it at your current book. Essentially, I think you Eagle guys called the bluff. The only way the company can crew those incoming airplanes is to swap them out for your 50 seaters and use your current manpower.
