1. Examiner fee - $300 (there is a female C-17 Guard (KMEM) who also is a check pilot out there -- her cost is $400. I'm going w/ Dr. Ray….

2. Ground - 3 hr @ $40/per = $120

3. Flying - $295/hr (total of 4.5 hours (2.5 "learning' the plane and a 2.0/hr check ride) -

Total cost quoted = ~$1750

** He did mention that if you fly with a buddy, the price drops down to about $1500 total because you are basically splitting the cost of the flight time (you both won't need a 2.5 hour adaptation flight).

** He also isn't big on weekend flying because of extra Mx costs, so expect to fly during the week. I did squeeze a Friday / Saturday deal with no issues.

Their scheduling system is what you would come to expect from a reputable business, and the reviews from folks who have gone there are what we expect from an ATP checkout -- FAIR.

They are approved for the GI Bill….

I'll reply back with the gouge once I complete the ticket…

Higher Power is where a majority of guys are going. One of the check pilots, Charlie, is a good dude who I met over the holidays.

This would be huge for me so please reply back with the gouge when you finish up. Im from Memphis so a quick trip home would be easy stuff. Hope it works out well for ya.
