For the record, the Shuttle America situation does not apply. The Chautaqua E170s were causing millions in fines from APA and the Shuttle certificate was purchased as a place to put those aircraft since we were having trouble getting the Republic cert online. Prior to Chautauqua purchasing them, there were ZERO plans for the type on property. And the transition from Saab to E170 at Shuttle was facilitated by already having them on property at the same company.
Just making sure you've got the facts correct. Shuttle was not an E170 operator and had no plans to be one until the acquisition.
