Memphis might be some pilots home town. I get sick of people trashing it. Most people will do it to your face and not even care. If you dont like memphis there are other airlines you could work for. I would rather that you dont move here but its rude to bad mouth it. The company should not care if you commute. You are based in MEM. If you dont want to live here than you should be on your own to get to work. I think FDX bends over backwords to cater to commuters. So what if there are 30 out of 200 lines that are out and back. If it makes you feel any better...I don't think anyone is picking on your little piece of Eden. I also don't like Memphis. But there are many places that people don't care for. Some of mine are Newark, Buffalo, Little Rock, Albuquerque, Provo, Miami, Houston, El Paso and the rest of Texas.
I respect the pride you feel for your hometown. But, if you insist on professing your love for Memphis...you need to toughen up a bit. Good grief. Can you imagine someone from Dallas being as thin skinned as you are?
