Southwest crew departing ROC 2/15/14 at around 5pm local. We were getting deiced and asked for type 4, since it had been snowing for the past 3 hours and it was possible for us getting a lengthy delay going to JFK and our passengers were already delayed. Didn't want to take the chance of having to get deiced again. It Just stopped snowing and they demanded over the radio we "only do type one since there is no precip" and to "actually fly the airplane boys" and not rely on weather reports.

I'll fly my airplane and you fly yours. Last time I checked it was my name on the release next to "CA". Sorry that 5 min of fluid application ruined your day.
