The ORD base is NOT going to be resulting in any new growth. We actually fly more out of ORD than any other base and the company thinks this will help the operation run more smoothly. Not even sure how big of a pilot base it will be at first. I've heard different things from different people in regards to upgrades. We were doing 10 per month for a while which is a pretty rapid pace for the size of the company. This month we went down to 2. What were doing in the following months is different depending on who you ask.
Heard an interesting rumor that we will be getting an ORD base with new American 145 flying sometime this summer. Would explain all the crazy upgrading and continued new hire classes now that we are properly staffed.
