There are many reasons to be against cabotage. This is not one of them.
FDX 705 endured the terror of a deranged killer. Calloway was a deranged maniac intent on killing and destroying. The Etheopian pilot was allegedly attempting to request political asylum (albeit in a horribly felonious way), and it appears he did not attempt to kill or harm his crew or anyone else.

So, yes, there IS a difference. One acted for vengeful and financial motives, the other political. So let's get that straight.
