Uh, not so fast sport. Crew skd calls March 31st - we've got a six day trip for you. ****? We've only got 3 day trips. Computer generated trip and "you fly the month you're in" which means the computer ignores your April days off.
The flight office is not heartless and deals can be made BUT they're not guaranteed. And 'the needs of the service take priority'.
