Funny you mentioned Salute...
Last Wed night midnight 30 they push us back, i'm the FB. They unhook and drive off. The CA called them back to show us the pin and a salute.
15 minutes later they return.
And then they stood there a full minute and a half waving the pin and saluting.
It's every workgroup here.
I went to the C23 pilot ops restroom in DFW 2 years ago. There was stuff written in the mens room which we share with the rampers, on the stall walls by the rampers towards us AArogant Skygods. Lots of bad stuff.
Part of the culture problem at AA stems not just from Centerport but from the cockpit where Captains think they;re still in the Air Force and treat everyone like they're enlisted personnel.
For the new hires and for USAir happy to be here! Please please bring a different culture. Any culture will be appreciated.
