It goes to show that different techniques work for everyone.

I do the CD to get an overview first and at the same time get the memory items down cold. From there it's the LOD interfaced with flows (I find that doing the flows helps me understand the systems functionality better). Then it's on to profiles.

I try to walk in on day 1 with all of that mostly down cold, that way training is just cleanup. It's easier on the instructors and easier on me.
