I don't work for Saudia, but for Nas in Saudi Arabia. I'm interested to know the commuting options as well. I'm currently an A320 captain on a 20/10 commuting contract. While this is sufficient for now, traveling back to the US for 10 days is pretty insane, especially because your traveling days are your days off.. So in reality, your home for 8 days. Living in Saudi is ok. Compounds are definately a must. If you work for Saudia, you would stay in their compound which is enormous. Pay is fantastic everywhere in the Middle East, but particularly in Saudi due to the low cost of living and all housing provided.. And also most people who are willing to relocate to this part of the world would prefer a more open environment like the UAE, or Doha. But if you can bare the culture shock, and with a commuting contract.. Life would be pretty easy.. Oh and did I mention the pay!!
