I love people who say "let's not get into my regional is better than yours argument." "All regionals suck." If you're comparing them to mainline that's true. But you might want to actually compare them to other regionals. And where do people draw the line? How about 4 year max FO pay? How about starting again at year 1 CA pay? How about paying to fly for a regional? Where exactly is the line? To PSA guys I have to ask. How would you feel if regional xyz in two weeks accepted concessions and then Parker comes back to you and says "give up your SAP or we're taking all those promised jets and putting them at regional xyz?" Wouldn't you guys be angry? Part of learning from the past is recognizing when a mistake was made. Clearly the PSA concession was a big one.
I as a PSA guy would be indifferent seeing as if we don't get the jets the TA becomes null and void. Pay rates go back to 12 years and our insurance is cut again.
