Dear Galaxy,

I am in my 36th year here (DAL/NWA/REP/NCA) as a 59 year old and I only fly to a few Asian destinations (TLV maybe once a year). Never have I considered this job to be boring. I enjoy the professional colleagues I work with but at times get frustrated with our pilot managers (desk flyers).

This career path has allowed me and my family opportunities beyond comparison and I still get to play with small airplanes (owner/operator).

Either career path (corporate, airline or military) is a good one as long as it is your passion. For me, I choose the airlines and haven't been disappointed.

I wish the new guy good luck!!
