DFW is somewhat junior, but not as junior as IAD. However, newhires aren't necessarily placed at the most junior base, they're put wherever they're needed. Some actually get ATL 700 (most senior spot in company). Also, we don't hold regular bids like normal airlines, so mobility is limited. Even worse, they "freeze" newhires, meaning even if they choose to run a bid, you're seat locked for a year (unless they waive the freeze, which they only do when it benefits them).
