As a new hire, the 73N and 320 trip wise are a wash. Comes down to if you prefer Airbus or Boeing. As an ER guy you're gonna get jammed with the really crappy trips and a lot of malaria pill taking when you do fly. Look at the relative seniority on the bus vs. 73 and see in DTW and see where you'll move quicker.
I don't think the ER flies to any malaria zones from DTW. It's mostly domestic with some pretty good trips plus Paris , FRA, LHR sometimes and AMS. They also still get a few pacific trips.
