I live in DTW. What are the pros and con's of the 7ER, 73N, and A320?
I was in DTW on the 7ER for about a year 2011-2012. At the time, for all intents and purposes, it was a domestic base at the bottom of the list. Obviously you will be international qualified, but you probably won't do too much international. Pros: Great fleet (757,767) to fly, more pay after year 1. Cons: Shrinking fleet (you might get displaced and have to retrain again soon), little forward movement in seniority, more to learn out of the gate for new guys.
I'm on the 73N now (not DTW). Pros: It's an OK airplane to fly (glass etc...), pays close to ER second year, good long leg trips for the most part, growing fleet, the fleet is all very similar. Cons: Smallest cockpit of the airplanes you asked about, loud.
I can't elaborate on the 320 other than to say that you are likely to move up the quickest on it or maybe the 73N (depending on how many folks they add up there).
