I hate it when guys stick absolutely to the "script". It shows zero personality towards and interaction with those that pay our salaries. I have said it before, and I'll say it again: it really isn't that hard to be nice, and adding in the flight time and a little about the weather isn't going to kill you. You don't have to go over the whole route of flight, or talk about your quals, but come on guys... Good grief.
