We've had quite a rash of well qualified military guys and gals coming to SkyWest lately (with intentions to leave). The majors are still working through well connected civilians, check airmen and O-5s (and up), so the 6-15 year active duty and guard/reservists are coming to the better regionals in droves. Better to separate and be ready to make the jump to a legacy when they call, then to defer 3 months of class dates while you get your paperwork in order.
COS or DEN aren't unrealistic in your first year here, and besides great lakes, I don't really know if there are any better 121 options for somebody west of the plains states. Good luck, and let me know if you'd like any info.
Thanks so much Duvie, I will PM you with some questions. Really appreciate the perspective and info!
