As a military guy having never done these before, this is an actually serious question! What is the difference between an "easy" interview and a "hard" interview?
They grill you pretty good on the technical, especially if you've flown a jet before. When I interviewed there was a CRM portion where they have you act out the role of an FO or captain in a different scenario. I found it kind of awkward since I had never flown in a crew environment before my interview. In the sim they set it up like a turboprop pick approaches that are pretty hard to fly at those speeds such as the ILS 6 TTN which has a lot of very quick turns straight into hold entries. Most people in my interview class blew way past the fix on at least one of the holds.
The one good thing about the technical is that the gouges are spot on. I think they only asked me 1 or 2 questions total that I wasn't 100% prepared for. The CRM portion and the sim are harder to prepare for unless you have access to a Frasca.
