Sorry we got sidetracked. Question about attrition. I think most people are waiting it out to see how aggressive we are going to be in pursuing a better contract. Lots of us really love the job and people at atlas, but its hard to pass up the B fund at the majors for the next 30+ years if we don't get one. Nobody is leaving to places like JetBlue, Virgin, etc though. It's only to the big three that I've heard. Flew with a new guy that's in a pool and he said over half of his new hire class has been hired at Delta or United, so attrition is coming soon.
I'd imagine it's more of a preference for a different lifestyle or schedule than any critique of Atlas. Anyone who wants to do long haul international exclusively and work at the market segment leader would choose Atlas, I'd presume.
