I am sure you are quite busy sorting through resumes but I thought it would hurt to ask a few questions not listed on your website;

Approximately how many First Officer positions do you anticipate for your initial hiring?

When do you expect calls to go out for those who have already applied?

Will you interview and hire/pool candidates prior to officially opening for business?

Below was the email received:

We are currently finalizing our launch and service plans which will determine the specific answers to your questions. We anticipate having these plans finalized in the coming weeks at which time we will be in contact with applicants for all of our posted career opportunities.

We are flattered to have received such a strong response from so many well qualified applicants. We are carefully reviewing all the applications we have received, but as I am sure that you can understand, based on the volume of applications this is a time consuming process. We will continue our review as we move toward the start of our formal interview process and contact applicants as we are prepared to move to the next step in the process with them.
