The way I understand it is if there are vacancies on the 747 that can't be filled by 767 folks, either by lack of bidders or too many people locked on the 767, then a new hire will get the seat. I wouldn't be surprised to see the 767 as the sole new hire airplane after September. Also, with that being said, if you are currently on property and on the 747 with less than three years seniority then you should expect to be in what ever seat and base you are holding come September until your three year anniversary with not much movement up in seniority in your base. That is the way I read the CBA as it presently sits. Most 767 folks can come over and hold a decent quality of life in most bases on the 747 along with the pay bump that goes with it with 3+ years seniority.
