Delta will eventually fly those DAL-LGA routes, plus many more, with 717's as we get more airframes. SWA will pay to modify former AT metal to compete against themselves and finally offer an alternative to the SWA cattle call out of LUV.

(and yes, Shyguy..I took notice of your shot at delta pilots, but chose to ignore it. I don't know why you have such a hard-on for delta guys, but good luck working that out)
