You are under the (false) impression that there is some rule in business that says employee costs have to be equal between companies. This is simply not true.

But go ahead and resign yourself to bankruptcy level compensation as a new normal. I'm not going to change your mind.
While others took extreme cuts, you yourself said just a few posts ago that it is irrelevant to our case. And I never said that you said SWA is the entire argument. But... you consistently hold them up as the gold standard. And, I am not under any such impression that all employee costs have to be the same, but like any statistical group, 2nd and third standard deviations do not survive long as part of the group. I'm not a statistics guy, but I understand that most basic concept, and as an option trader, I know you do too. (Oh, and I think Spirit pilots make significantly less than DAL pilots, and their company is wildly profitable.) Maybe if we took an average? lulz.

And lastly, I don't know about yours, but my income is well above bankruptcy level. It all counts. I'm gonna get almost 84 hours next month and only work 9 days. Not too shabby in my book.
