I don't think NJ management has any intention of recalling pilots except as required by the working agreement concerning sell-offs.
Seems like relations between the company and the three/four unions is really poisoned. I foresee no relief anytime soon.
Management has found that it can be very profitable to do more and more with less and less. Recalling a few pilots allow it to sell-off more and more flights, while attrition is keeping the number of active pilots essentially the same, or actually fewer.
Smart management (short term).
