I don't think its a factor in the slightest. Under the old interview medical, the non-AME doctors at the professional urine sampel and worker's comp facility down by the airport (where the AMA sends all their elite, obviously) could (and likely would) delay your sign off until they were safistied (to their non-AME/no clue wanna be astronaut flight physical standards) but they rarely if ever could "down" an applicant. They could and often did, however, needlessly delay even well known and documented with the FAA issues that cost applicants several classes in seniority.

Forunately they were kicked to the curb and we no longer pay big bucks for needless harassment by people far outside the scope of their expertise.
