I don't know what FIT costs for in-state, but when I looked into it, out of state tuition was horrendous. This is actually one of the things that made me choose Purdue over FIT; believe me, moving to Indiana instead of Florida was a tough call.
If FIT isn't too bad for in-state, it seems like a pretty good place to go. I remember the airport being a bit of a trek from campus, and I was less than impressed with the dorms, but they've got a really nice campus and a solid program.
