It was not my intent to harass him. I was really trying to understand why a guy who had crossed a union picket line to fly would then be wearing an ALPA lanyard. I mean ALPA can't get most guys today to wear a lanyard and here's a scab proudly wearing one. It doesn't make sense to me at all.
He's got his email on a public website so I thought I'd drop him a quick note to first confirm he is in fact a scab and then see if he could explain what's up. Wow, what an answer. I can tell he's rationalized it all in his mind. What an ego.
Again, from his reply,
"Our strike at Continental was a giant IQ test and those brain-dead idiots who chose to drink the ALPA Kool-Aid all lost big time.
I mean striking an airline "after" it declared bankruptcy was about as stupid as could possibly be!
Since I chose to keep it going (one of 125 who did) I feel very responsible for helping to create the largest airline in the world today."
He's so proud of what he did he claims it on his Linkedin page,
Jim Green | LinkedIn
"Worked with the COB of Texas Air Corp. and the CEO of Continental Airlines, suggesting a course of action that turned our operation from a failing one into one that became the best & largest airline in the world."
What a tool...
