No Hoss, for most of us the current management at current UAL used to be lower LCAL management Pre-merger!! The upper guys got out right before the merger!!

Jeff did not get the CEO job until right before the merger. I think the smart ones saw what was coming down the road. I think what sets LCAL guys off is when LUAL guys say "these LCAL way of doing things are crap!!" It was not like this at LCAL prior to the merger. There were issues but, in general things worked!! I'm sure it's the same when you hear a LCAL guy say "these LUAL policies sure do stink" and you think to yourself no they were just fine prior to all this merging stuff. I think what the company did that was a HUGE mistake was try to be politically correct!! Instead of just taking a system that works (LUAL or LCAL) and say here "it's worked along time, learn it!!" they decided to reinvent the wheel on almost EVERY issue. Just think about the minor issues pilot uniforms (strips on jacket LCAL, strips on tie LUAL), plane paint job (LUAL name, LCAL color and tail). They can't do anything EASY!! It's just so frustrating, since I think it could be SO much easier!!
