Retired from civil aviation due to poor eyesight many years ago but I maintain an intense love of aviation. I am very computer literate, technical in nature, and even though I have never flown left seat in a jet, I have a very good basic knowledge of commercial aviation and its systems, and have even read operations manuals for quite a few aircraft.
