I really hope they use the Airways reserve and build a new system from it. Here are a few things on our reserve, 1. Only short call is required to be in base and you bid long call or short call for the month (not on a daily basis), 2. When you get a trip, it is yours, and when you finish you get 10 hours off, and if it finishes on your last day thats it, your done, 3. Your position on the list is based on hours flown, no complex formula, no tricks, 4. by 1p the day before they assign all open flying to long calls first then short calls if not enough LC available, so if you get a trip you actually get more than 10 hours. But there is room for improvement, we could get 12-13 days off, the ability to bid for RAPs on a daily basis, 12 hours callouts for long call, or limits on Duty day from the beginning of the RAP, just to name a few...
