If you want to be a 717 or 737 Capt. for the rest of your life, Delta Rocks! But if you want to make some money, not so much, when you consider the fleets and number of 747/777 Capt. jobs at UCon and AA, compared to the 16 747's and 18 777's at Delta.
Oh wait, Richard just said he wants to replace the 747's with something smaller, so we've got that going for us!
Not sure what company fleet planning has to do with job loss from the contract. They have replaced 56 747/777 CA's in the above time frame. CA positions on the large wide bodies are as you know very dependent on 4 man verses 3 man metrics.
When did you become a 777CA?
