I stood in line for fast pass because they are the only place I want to go. Once there, I found the JB recruiters to be very accommodating and available. I just spoke to a couple/few different ones so I could see who jetBlue is.
Someone told you 5000 hours. Someone told me 3500+ hours. I dunno. It's baffling. 300 hours is not going to make or break a pilot... we all know that.
A friend of mine at JB said he knows of a 10,000 hour pilot who can't get called because of his currency (less than 250 in 12 months).
I don't know what the matrix is. Things change. I'll roll with it. I'll still keep my blue shirt ready to go and hope for the best.

And hope to see you there.
Maybe they were puzzled as to why you were at career fair when you already had an interview set up with them. Maybe they thought you were not as interested because you were seeing other airlines. They want people who are going to stay.
