Mmm...Don’t think anyone is suggesting FedEx be otherwise. The issue here is that while profits are very high, less and less flying is being done by the original company: FedEx Express, in favor of rail and trucks. These directly compete with Express. Now, if you are already in your comfy left seat, all it really means is poorer choices of pairings to chose from. But, if you are still in the right seat, it means another contributor to the already long delays to upgrade = loss of income. Given the time value of money, and the hits from over 60, 4a2b, loss of third seat aircraft, and dumbocrats in the white house, it paints a murky picture for the foreseeable future.
