There are plenty of Republicans who not only disagree with the above, they work hard to make sure corporations retain their right to do it. They also defend the right of management to structure their compensation to avoid being gutted during BK.

Management's compensation is to be protected. Workers compensation is a cost to be managed and eliminated if possible.
