Anyone know if we need to have first class privileges when showing up to class or if we'll be good with a medical that is in months 6-12?
Have a 1st class medical all the way thru training. You will get a type ride (capt's check ride). Then, if you are younger than 40, I believe you are allowed to let it lapse to a 2nd class for domestic operations. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
