Say you have a two leg commute with the first leg going to ORD and then to MSP for the second leg. Do you just have to give yourself two chances at leaving your home airport? Or do you have to make it to ORD first, and still give yourself two chances at getting to MSP from ORD.
For example, your first flight from your home airport gets canceled and you make the second flight to ORD, but from ORD you have only one chance to get to MSP and that flight gets canceled. Are you still protected by the commuter clause? Or do you have to make it to ORD in time to have 2 chances at getting to MSP.
Pretty sure it's just the second leg.
