Pratt 4360
When I was in A&P school (high school vocational), we had a dusty metal can in the back of the shop. One day with not much to do, we removed the lip bolts and removed the top of the container. Inside was a sparkling, never installed brand new 4360. Descecant plugs still in the cylinders and the baffles were glossy black. The splined shaft gleamed as a new part.
Our school was in the West and the can said "Summa Corporation" on the side. Can anybody guess what the purpose of this brand new 4360 was?
As a side note,,, the engine was traded for a Piper Apache. More useful for A&P students the school said. That was a painful trade!
