wow, outrageously expensive. I looked at some housing costs recently for a retirement search and was blown away. It could be matter of perspective however. Taxes are really high in Md and DC. VA is not as bad.

I talked to a SW guy in the MDW airport and he was a BWI guy. He lived in Charlotte and loved it. It was an easy 1 hop commute to work.
