Seriously, think about it... there are warm bodies filling every new hire class 95%, many say they are chasing a quick upgrade to the 170, and there are still pilots behind those. PSA just signed their new contract reducing existing pay and benefits. What leverage, if ANY does ALPA have to corner JO into an improved contract?. They could hide behind the RLA indefinitely... right until their hands are forced to make this place more attractive. The 170/PSA TA effectively took the wind from the NC's sails. Moral of my rant: don't expect any QOL or pay improvements any time soon. I'll save my (and APC's) WARNING of "Chasing the quick upgrade or "SJS" in exchange for substandard pay and work rules.
