The yellow days are regular assigned reserve days as a result of your bid.
The pink days are "coverage awards" which basically means it was forced on your line because they were short of reserves that day. (generally happens on weekends or around any holidays, Super Bowl, etc.)
Probably not a very satisfactory explanation but nobody REALLY understands the unstacking logic

If you are awarded more than 6 reserve days in a row then scheduling has to assign you a 30 hour rest break in there somewhere to respect the 30 in 168 rule. They usually do it right after you block in from a trip. OR - you can get the 30 hour break in the middle of a trip on a layover. We're seeing more of that lately.
