Flew with a Capt at my 1rst airline that started all approaches on the 72 at plus 15!!! Gusts added on top! That was because during the switch from props to jets, guys were expecting instant power the same as the props...some apparently landed short. Always made for an exciting ride into the old SRQ airport!
The old FMY airport was always a 25 flap T.O. There was a garden shop at the end of the runway, you could read the price tags on the rakes.
