The whole idea for the PIC time is proven/demonstrated leadership and decision making. If you do not have manager/chief pilot/other decision maker role on your resume then the PIC time is golden.

There is no "heavy time" fields on the applications....Turbine time is turbine time. That is why just as many F16 guys get picked as KC-135 guys (as an example).
