I have 4000TT SIC in big jets that you mentioned with zero TPIC and several connections with no call. 8000TT. Same goes for a lot of people who have the same SIC in big jets with plenty of TPIC time too.
The difference I've seen now are the friends of mine with Military experience have gotten multiple offers, while us pure civilians are sitting on the sidelines. Fair or not that's the reality. Had I known that was the case I would have pursued the military more.
